And now for some blatent advertising.

Colin has given in to mine and alex (Apinner) persistent pestering and let us startup a wiki under the briskoda name. Hopefully once some more config is done. There will be the beginings of a strucuture and guides in place next week

Something else for out 30,000 users to get their teeth into.

not that there is so much to see yet, but the project is commendable and a big Thanks to you and Alex for launching the project!

Hope you'll not run out of inspiration due to lack of input from the rest of us...

Yep auroan is a complete noob and im having to do everything..

Just kidding we are both working hard to get it ready for your input next week (fingers crossed). It really is your input that we need! We need guides and articles written by yourselves. Most of you do it over and over again every day on the forums answering the same questions over and over.

Even if you don't know how the wiki works, just submit what you have to either myself or auroan and i'm sure we can edit it for you. But i cant stress enough how important it is that you guys all chip in!

As to stat's, it's not doing to badly. Of all the VAG sites I think it's still the fastest growing, it certainly was a year or so ago. However we have a different demographic and that's noticeable in a number of ways. We have a far higher % of people visiting and reading than posting for example

Last month we had over 54k unique visitors, approx 1.5 million page views, might be more for March as last week was 424k alone with 56k visitors*. The 7k active is signed in members visiting the site in the last 2 weeks. Not everyone posts and not everyone signs in.

Let me do some figures...it's been a while since I have...

Now bear in mind some of these are spurious, bot's etc, but of all we only have 200 totally dud accounts.

And yesterday we had our busiest day with 1382 members.

But all the above is nought without the community working together for the good of all. Way back in the early days it was better. The success brings it's own problems and I think we've all seen that in recent months.

So please lets all work for a better place, I'm confident that the initial sites goals can still be met, despite a massively different profile of users, it would be sad, very sad to think it can't still be a great place to be, irrespective of the membership count.

Did notice the server busy today.

I've sent you an e-mail Colin about the server parts and have a pair of heat sinks for a 2u chassis. Not heard anything in a couple of weeks, so if you could let me know so I can keep hold of it for you.

You're not far off 31'000 members too
