Indeed... any more for a group buy?

The vRS is not listed on the website for Eibach springs, so will give them a call. Si, you interested in a set also?

Yeah i've been looking at a set for a while, i've spoken to Eibach about it.

I have the kit number, the springs are actually for a VW Bora but fit the Octy RS.

Awesome GTi say they've fitted quite a few sets with no troubles.

Very true, though the guy i spoke to at Eibach suggested that a number of tuners had been using this kit with no problems, he did state however that it was not something they themselves had tried and as such the kit is not currently TUV approved.
I'm not sure if this has insurance implications

However having been out in Gerry's car it felt very very nice!
Interested to see if Sarah can find out any more...

Hi
I have had a price for Koni lowering springs for the Octavia vRS.
The price of these would be 108.00 + VAT
So delivered to your doothey would be 138.65 all in.
I have been back in touch with Eibach and they will not be able to make a kit up for this car.
So there would only be Koni available for this car.
The final lowering would be between 35 and 40mm
Hope this helps you
Sarah

Just had a long chat with John at Awesome, and he assures me that the Eibachs as suppiled to me are the correct ones for the Octy vRS, in regard to size/weight/poundage etc.

We have done several gb with Jabba for Eibach springs and/or dampers.

PM Flatfourburble and if there is enough interest we can do another....for details search for Eibach springs/damper gb in the Promotions section.

We would probably require a minimum of 10 peope for such a gb to go through.

It's very confusing:
Eibach tell me their Bora springs and have not been tried on the Octavia
One person at Awesome thinks their Golf springs and therefore don't suit while another thinks that they are suitable for the Octavia..
Wires are getting crossed somewhere...
