| Sarah Along with a Octy vRS, I have a winter project car in the garage, a '93 VW Corrado 16v 2.0l. I've been reviewing the Awesome website and see that for a small sum ( ) of money I can have a complete Milltek system, manifold, cat and system which could be just what I'm looking for. However, I have heard that some four branch manifolds fit mk II 16v Golfs fine but do not fit the Corrado because of clearence problems concerning the ARB. Can you confirm that the Milltek item presents no such problems? Also should I buy the complete system, would it be recommended to purchase new rubber hangers (S/S exhausts are presumably somewhat heavier than standard systems) and does the manifold include a cylinder head gasket, I guess all U clamps and the like are included? Sorry, so many questions but need to know (oh and do we get Brisky discounts these days with Awesome?) Thanks in advance

| Won Leeboy....have you nothing else to do in the cold weather? The clearence problem is more to do with the steering rack...some have the problems and some dont, seems to be trial and error so I have been told.. Sorry I could not give you a yes or no answer. With the rubber hangers , I would say on a car of that year it would be wise to replace them at the same time. These perrish and with the removal they could split anyway. Powerflex do some rather good uprated exhaust bushes too. You would have to purchase the gaskets seperately and this would be a dealer (or GSF) item and not that expensive , but would be a manifold gasket All U clamps that are required will come with the system too. We already offer a 10% discount on our web site too on the retail price of Milltek , so I am afraid we could not do any more than that. But if you need any more help please feel free to give me a shout back Sarah |

| Sarah Thank you for info, oh and I've plenty to do in the cold weather, so this is one of many things. With regards to the trial and error fitting of the manifold, if it doesn't fit can it be sent back (assuming no damage of course) because I reckon the steering rack pretty much has to stay in its current position ? If some fit and others do not, this must mean the clearence must be tight at the best of times?Lee
