Hi Sarah, Can you tell me how much a 100,000 mile service for a Fabia 1.9 tdi will be? Also I'm thinking about getting the car remapped at the same time, what remaps/tuning boxes do you do and how much are they? Also how much would it cost to get some Eibach Pro Springs fitted? - I've already got the springs, I've just not had time to fit them yet. Thanks Rob

Hi Rob The 100k service would be £185.00 + VAT This would be the oil , air and fuel filters replaced Lights , levels and a good check over too. The fitting of the springs would be £167.50 + VAT and that includes the geo set up. At Awesome we have just spent ALOT of money on some new state of the art geo set up These are fantastic The map....we can offer the Forge remap or the Tunit box. I must admit Forge guys at the moment are excellent with the diesel remaps , but I do tend to like the Tunit boxes These are removable and can be interchanged on all the PD engines on the VAG group So if you was to sell the car , you could take it off and put it on to your new car of sell it on. Both are £398.00 + VAT I do not have the power figures on me as I am doing this at home but I will post them for you tommorrow Hope that helps a bit for now ![]() Sarah

Thanks Sarah, that helps alot, although it would have waited until you got to work! I can see this is probably going to be an expensive visit! If I fit the springs myself, how much would it be to get the Geo set up done? I'll be interested in the power gains from the 2 remaps although I do like the idea of the tunit box. Rob

Sorry , many will tell you that a visit to me costs money ![]() But you do go away happy with the work done. The Tunit goes to 120bhp and torque goes from 178lb/ft to 207lb/ft This is straight out of the box with no adjustments. There are more adjustments under the bonnet and then the lap top tuning that we can do too The Forge remap goes to 130bhp and 310lb/ft The geo set up on its own would be £67.50 + VAT so that would save you £100.00 + VAT to fit it yourself. Rob if I can help you further please let me know as I am off after today Sarah

Thanks Sarah. Thats pretty much all the info I need for now. Just got to convince the girlfriend that I need to buy all of this now ![]() Thats a huge torque increase from the Forge remap though- is it likely to kill off my clutch quickly?

Mmmm Not if you drive it correctly You will be ok as you have the 100PD and it has the 5 speed gearbox The thing that kills gearboxes is accelerating in high gears. Keep it singing with the gears and you should be ok. I have one of them cars and I LOVE it to bits , but the clutch should be fine Sarah
