your talking about a lovingly looked after 15k(when new) car with probably another 25k spent on it that would cost anyone willing to replicate it easily 20k doing it cheaply and a hell of a lot of time too when you could buy it all done to an extremely high standard with either very high quality or oem parts where needed and its a wonder of a thing. that and the above mentioned 460bhp isn't pushing the setup and could well easily see 500+ if pushed a little harder. so i would say it would be worth a lot more than 12k but to a very limited market and to the general public it wouldn't be worth much at all as they wouldn't hold the modifications or the time and money spent in the regard that they should.

| Thanks to everyone for all the nice comments. As Bill says I've got an S8 for now, I have a few plans for it, mostly aesthetic although I'm not sure if I'll be able to resist an exhaust just so I can hear the V8 a bit better.

| mpg seems very similar to the Octavia. I averaged 24mpg on the way back from Bill's on Sunday.

| Milltek do a cat back for £800 but it looks much the same as standard, I fancy a quad outlet one which will probably be a bit cheaper too from an exhaust fabricator. Something like the one in the attached photo.
