| Briskodian | Could I change by Vag-Com ... Hello! I am new user of this forum, so first hello to everybody. I have ne Octavia and I have some questions about what could I do with VAG-COM program. First: Every time I refuel my car I compare between caltulated value and value show on computer. Diferent between them is around 0.5 l/100 km. Could I something change with VAG-COM program that the values will be equal. Second: I would like to have function ''comming home and leaving home''. I already asked my seller about this function and he told me that is not possible in our region (Slovenia). Could I do something with VAG-COM program? That all for now. Best regards Trdonja |

| Re: Could I change by Vag-Com ... 1.) Yes, that can be *fixed*. 2.) Yes, if your central electronics control module supports that. Got it's part number?

| Re: Could I change by Vag-Com ... /off topic Where abouts in Slovenia are you? My whole family is crazy about the place and have been going there every year for the last 6-7 years, with parents and uncle/aunty going two or three times a year. Mostly too Lake Bled as it's such a cracking place. Decided I needed to see the place for myself and went in Feb this year as I love the cold. Superb country, and I'm hoping too drive there next time ( next 6-18months ) ( 1200miles to get there, 1300 back! ). |

Oh the exact places we went, but we didn't climb. Had a awsome walk thanks to one of the local guide/mountain/cave rescue guys we befriended, somewhere the local army where traning! Just thinking now, do I dare go in summer there or go for the superb cold weather?! | |

| Re: Could I change by Vag-Com ... For clarification, you said "new" Octavia - does this mean the Octavia I (1U) or Octavia II (1Z)? I was assuming it's the new model Octavia II (1Z). Quote:

| Re: Could I change by Vag-Com ... Please use this function... VAG-COM > Select > 09 - Central Electr. > Fault Codes - 02 > Copy Codes Even if there are no fault codes stored, VAG-COM will copy all necessary information to the windows clipboard so you can paste (ctrl+v) it in your answer without making typo's etc.

| Briskodian | Re: Could I change by Vag-Com ... It's working. Thank you very much. I got new stuff on display for function 'comming home and leaving home'. I tested and I have one question. When I unlock the car lights turn off after selected time. But when I lock the car lights turn off after 60s. Why? I also set auto-lock but I didn't find chanel for set lokc with beep (I have alarm in car) My sister has Golf 5 GTI. Do you know any codes for this car too? I looked but is a little diferent like Octavia. Thanks again Trdonja |
