Electrics Have Gone Haywire - HELP!

The electrics in my 2003 Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI Estate have gone crazy.
The electric windows worked intermittently and now have stopped working. The central locking no longer works at all - I now have to lock all the doors one by one (pressing each button down). However, when you indicate left it locks all the doors and unlocks them when you indicate right. The radio works for only short periods of time with the engine running (about twenty minutes).
Also, the boot stopped unlocking with the rest of the car shortly after I was rear ended but a bit of oil soon fixed that. I am, however, worried that this was the beginning of the problems.
I drove through a great deal of heavy rain from Wolverhampton up to Stirling on Friday 5th September and I wonder if some water may have damaged the electrics. That said, the problem with the central locking began a week or so ago - it began to stop locking the O/S door with the remote so I had to use the keys to lock it. This locked all the doors.
So... Help?

Thanks in advance.

Have you installed an after market head unit?

I would say the convenience unit has got wet.

IIRC its behind the center console, pop your arm behind the centre and see if it wet to touch. Rain is a pain.

I agree. The CCM is probably wet. Check your pollen filter is fitted correctly and any drain holes in the area are clean. You want to try to get the CCM and it's wiring dry as soon as possible, and get some water dispersant (eg: wd40) on the connectors. If they get corroded it will be a nightmare to sort.

Some more information:

I've taken the fuses out and put them back in - which has made the central locking work with the key but not with the remote. The electric windows now work.

However, after another shower today the above is no longer true.
