| Re: errors today... help I've updated both codes pages regarding your specific code. Have you performed the basic setting yet? VW Golf (1K) Brake Electronics (MK60) - Ross-Tech Wiki Did you recode the module so the 01044 has a reason? Or is it all fixed now?

| Re: errors today... help [Select] [03 - Brake Electronics] [Coding-II - 11] OR (if Coding-II is not available) [Security Access - 16] Enter 40168, to enable the basic setting. [Do it!] [Basic Settings - 04] Group 060 [Go!] Activate the Basic Setting. [ON/OFF/Next] After a successful basic setting, field 2 should say "OK". At this stage i get " error group 060 not available" written in red through the four boxes. |

| Re: errors today... help these were my instructions on what needed to be done after the maxidots were fitted this morning... Sensor for Steering Angle (G85) Prerequisites: Start the vehicle. Turn the steering wheel one turn to the right and one turn to the left. Drive in a short distance straight line on a level surface at a speed not higher than 20 km/h. If the steering wheel is straight during the test drive then stop the vehicle with the wheels pointed straight. Ensure that the steering wheel is not moved again. Keep the engine running and do not switch off the ignition. [Select] [03 - Brake Electronics] [Coding-II - 11] OR (if Coding-II is not available) [Security Access - 16] Enter 40168, to enable the basic setting. [Do it!] [Basic Settings - 04] Group 060 [Go!] Activate the Basic Setting. [ON/OFF/Next] After a successful basic setting, field 2 should say "OK". [Done, Go Back] To make sure the basic setting was succesful, check the sensor again. [Measuring Blocks - 08] Group 004 but everytime i tried to do the on/off button bit that was when i has the problems. |

| Briskodian | Re: errors today... help Fordfan seems to be correct. The procedure you need to use for the brake pressure sensor G201 uses group 066 - at least the updated info Sebastian posted would indicate that that is the case. Check the Ross-Tech Wiki again. | Re: errors today... help There wouldn't have been any need to change any long or short coding so if you have then you need to change it back.

| Re: errors today... help Sebastian Paul was supposed to have had a replacement DashPod fitted on Saturday and thus requires the basic settings carried out on the car. They didn't get the dashpod working. I've done it several times using the guide on the Wiki but it does often take a couple of attempts.
