| A good opportunity to buy VAG-COM I've just been thinking to myself that there are a lot of you out there using the trial versions of the SW with eBay cables. With the current strength of the £ vs $ now would be a good opportunity to grab yourself a bargain. The licence is $99 which is currently around £50 and because it's electronic there would be no import duty. VAG-COM Software License: Ross-Tech Store If I didn't already have mine I'd certainly be making the investment as it's only the cost of a diagnostic check at a dealer!!

| Fabian | Re: A good opportunity to buy VAG-COM Remember though that the software is licenced to one particular laptop only. If you want to transfer the licence, you are better off getting a genuine Vag-Com lead (also cheaper with a weak $), which has the licence built in. |

| Re: A good opportunity to buy VAG-COM That's not really relevant to my initial post Bryan. Should you wish too though, you can move to another computer, you just need to de-activate and re-activate. Ross-Tech: VAG-COM: FAQ Page 5 No big deal. I suggested this as a cheaper option for somone who already has the 'Dumb' interface remember Bryan - not intended cable purchasers.
