A good opportunity to buy VAG-COM

I've just been thinking to myself that there are a lot of you out there using the trial versions of the SW with eBay cables.

With the current strength of the £ vs $ now would be a good opportunity to grab yourself a bargain.

The licence is $99 which is currently around £50 and because it's electronic there would be no import duty.

If I didn't already have mine I'd certainly be making the investment as it's only the cost of a diagnostic check at a dealer!!

Remember though that the software is licenced to one particular laptop only. If you want to transfer the licence, you are better off getting a genuine Vag-Com lead (also cheaper with a weak $), which has the licence built in.

That's not really relevant to my initial post Bryan.

Should you wish too though, you can move to another computer, you just need to de-activate and re-activate.

No big deal.

I suggested this as a cheaper option for somone who already has the 'Dumb' interface remember Bryan - not intended cable purchasers.
