Re: Help with fault codes

I've just got the free software version from Ross Tech. Am I right in assuming that I need the registered version to alter the xenons, c locking etc? If so where do I get this number from. PM me!

Hi all, as you have said your car runs fine all the fault codes registered are all sporadic fault codes. First of all id take a print out of the codes clear all faults and monitor systems. Batterys being disconnected or low on capacitie will do this, as you can see there are a few B+ fault codes.

Re: Help with fault codes

battery did go flat last week and had to be jump started. Hopefully the codes are a result of that.

This is a common one which you should find in the search.

Clear the others and see what comes back.

Re: Help with fault codes

Yup - Its the ones which immediately return following clearance that might need attention, or in my case, not.

It doesn't have scare you though the first time you check and the screen fills up with error codes.
