Timer for heated mirrors....

The heated mirrors on my fabia stay on constant (when the switch is set to on) and i'd like to set a timer on them for about 10-15 mins, i'm pretty sure this can be done but not sure on where to find 'em in VAG-COM and what settings to change.... Anyone know?

Cheers.

Re: Timer for heated mirrors....

You can set the rear window time but not the mirrors.

Check/try adaptation channels 03 and 04 of the central electronics control module. I updated our WIKI to cover the details...

Re: Timer for heated mirrors....

Mirrors were set to 254 which is infinate so i've set them to 20 which should be ok seeing as 29 = 20 mins, also turned the rear window down from 20 to 29. Will see how it goes, although with the heated rear window set at 29 i've always had to turn it off manually cos it stay on far too long.
