What does this mean?

I have just tested my VRS for the first time and this fault code came up, i guess it isn't serious but can someone let me know what it means, as i can't find it on any fault code lists. Obviously it is to do with the radio but what specifically? Thanks

Do you have an aftermarket radio? Even if you did the above means nothing to me. Ross?

have you checked the fuses? It might be one of the wires that go to the ignition. Does the radio turn off when you pull the key out after turning off the engine, as that may be a symptom

The radio works fine, the faults erase but then come back after a drive. Seems very odd ..

Mine doesn't switch off when i remove the key.I remember one day at work though i must have fogotten to switch it off and when i came back the knob was out but the radio was off,so maybe they switch off after a pre set time.A 2001 model vRS by the way.

The knob will stay out if you use the key to turn it off and not manually, this is how it should work. Try it and see, if it does stay on with the key out it is the S wire fuse, but will turn off anyway after 30 mins to conserve the battery. The auto interior light will not come on either if it is the fuse

To get to it, in the Manual, look at the fuse box bit for the S wire (or something similar).

The fuse box is in the side of the dash next to the steering wheel, oppposite to in the manual.

yes, I was just wondering it it was not, as it may have been a fuse.
