06 Stutter: Reply to keith VRS: Digi Boxes ETC

Hi

Have 06 Furby vRS (with stutter) and Tunit VPD box fitted. Not sure if this is digital or not.

Car is a lot quicker, though it is stock other than this and without specialist air filter. Run it on Shell Diesel Extra with the occasional shot of Millers.

I would say the box doesn't assist in reducing the effect of the stutter but encourages you to 'drive through it'.

Bags more torque and a touch more smoke, but only a touch. Had 74 mpg from the car with it fitted though.

Pleased your happy with it, think you will find though that tuning boxes can make the car computer very inaccurate so i would go by that when working out your MPG
