| 1.9 SDI cutting out My mates 1.9 SDI has developed a problem that on occasions the engine will only run at idle speed. If he stops the car wait a few minutes then restarts the motor the throttle control is normal. The fault can return within miles or days. No error messages showing when the AA plugged the computer in, but when the fault occurs the glow plug light flashes on the dash. Could the fly by wire throttle cause the problem ? |
