Re: 100.000 miles today...and 20 miles later...

Is the damage just to that area or does is carry on down the car?

If it is just that area it's probably only a new wing, front bumper, a wheel/tyre and then maybe a few bits that hold the wheel on.

Hopefully nothing too serious though

i hope so. the tyres fine! no punctures! the wheels needed a recon anyway. hehe.

but when i drove it after the accident i think my axle was bent or something as the steering wheel clonked to the right every time the drive shaft or what ever rotated. *fingers crossed*

it was getting lowered this month too

Re: 100.000 miles today...and 20 miles later...

Hopefully should all be fixed fairly cheap.

Would it be worth just buying the parts yourself and not claiming ?

Not exactly expensive parts tbh.

I just bought a new wing for my Fabia for £42 delivered.

If you were buying all at one time it would save you on postage i suppose,

but parts alone..

Bonnet £79
Bumper £47
Foglamp £22

Then obviously paint/fitting.

Maybe not worth your while unless you're a dab hand at fitting yourself.

might well be worth not claiming mate, as you'll have to pay the excess anyway, theh you'll lose your no claims and also have a claim against you so will cost a fortune in the long run.

just price it up mate and see what happens.
