Default £120 to spend on my car.

Might not sound like much but i've got £120 to spend on my car this month (pocket money). Any suggestions as to what I can spend my £££ on

Or should I wait 1 more month and have £220 to spend and get the Jabba Rear ARB?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Chris.

Ibiza air intake, green filter and front strut brace should see it off, and improve handling and breathing nicely, thank you.

Spend £25 of that on Rospa tuition and £10 on the Roadcraft handbook A fantastic mod, transferrable to every car you drive and the only mod I can think of which actually lowers your insurance premium!

Its two choices for me

Save another ton for the ARB

OR

three tanks of diesel.

Because no other mod will really live up to the ARB, so you may as well spend it on go-go juice.

Ok, i'll hang on a month then and get the ARB, think I need it as the turn in is now razor sharp with the udder mod & strut brace, it seems to make the rear end a bit slow to catch up and makes for some interesting driving.

£85 on a 'Skill for Life' pack at www.iam.org.uk

Best £85 you'll ever spend. It'll make you much faster and safer than the ARB will and as Chris said, it'll lower your insurance so you can save even more pocket money

ARB is only £190 in the group buy at the moment, TBH I don't have any pocket money, just don't want to miss out on getting one!!!!

How's your ICE? £120 could go a long way to a Basslink or if you have excess elbow grease, you could get KFC-WDA69RC from caraudiosecurity.

Alternatively, pick a colour and get the radio surround, switchgear panels etc sprayed. I always think a Gunmetal colour looks good but maybe something a shade or two lighter for the inside of a car.

Any chance you could do the ROSPA tuition AND the IAM course and save even more money?

Pioneer DEH P77MP H/U and Blaupunkt CMS 265 sub. Could so with some new tweeters/speakers but i'm a numpty when it comes to ICE and I would only go for a coaxial upgrade as component whilst better is too much of a faff for me.

IAM is equivalent to ROSPA Bronze grade, so you'd be better off just doing ROSPA IMHO

I have decided to save up for the rear ARB, just a quickie about the GB currently running, is it similar to the jabba remap GB in that you pay a deposit now & the rest when you get the work done, in which case I could get my car booked in for the 27th May If so i'll add my name to the list.

PM me if you'd rather keep this off the forums.

Thanks,
Chris.
