| Briskodian | 130 Bhp Tdi Pd Hi chaps, well the scoob has lasted 6 months and I wished I hadnt got it, so I have been looking for a suitable car as I have managed to sell privately. I have found a tdi pd 130 bhp VW Golf mk4 estate which fits the bill exactly. Now I realise I am on the wrong forum and prob the wrong section for my Qs but I dont know of a golf estate forum to go on. The main reason for me coming back here is a friendly bunch when I was last on here, and seemingly good knowledge of the tdi 130 engine. It was this that swayed my mind in buying the VW, as the vrs I owned was very good in the engine department First Q is the wheels I see advertised on e-bay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-RS4-Alloy-W...QQcmdZViewItem Like these. Are they any good as people here seem to go for these on their skodas, I was wondering about quality of them as they seem prettyy cheap. Another Q is would a 160 bhp intake from a seat fit a vw as the engine is the same?? And would any chip tuning be exactly the same for it?? |

| Re: 130 Bhp Tdi Pd Remaps are pretty much the same. The PD160 intake will not fit.

| Re: 130 Bhp Tdi Pd You seem as bad as me for chopping and changing cars for no good reason. Anyhows, I have spent quite a bit of time around Golfs (about 20 years) so could advise you on quite a few things, but I've never owned a Golf 130 TDI. As for the RS4 lookalike wheels, be careful what you buy. Yes they look good but there are a lot of cheap and nasty copies about. Best advice seems to be go for Italian made ones. There are hundreds of them on ebay so don't be afraid to ask the sellers lots of information. BTW the Octy mk1 shares the Golf platform so you may be better off throwing some questions in the Octy section, though really I would suspect the mods would want you in the General Car section.....
