| Hi! I have just got a Fabia 1.2 and want to get some alloys for it. I would like to get 16", or 17" if they will fit the body ok, pref with 205/ 40 tyres, or similar but don't want ones that suffer kerb damage if possible, as the other driver of the car WILL kerb them! Does anyone know of any that fit the bill? Thanks. ![]() |

| Briskodian | Re: 16/17" Alloys for Fabia. lol, if you find any alloys that don't kerb. Give us all a shout because i'm sure we'd all want some! I fitted VRS alloys onto my 1.2 Polo. They have 205/45 R16 tyres on and have the same rolling radius of the standard wheels. Thats the size you want when you buy tyres. |

| Re: 16/17" Alloys for Fabia. I'd probably go for 16" ones at the largest, 17" you'll probably end up with a fairly hard ride, although it could be made to work I suppose ![]()

| Re: 16/17" Alloys for Fabia. I was suprised how little difference the 205/40 17" tyres made in ride comfort, compared with the 205/45 16" tyres.

| Briskodian | Re: 16/17" Alloys for Fabia. Hi, If I were you I would go no bigger than 16", with a small engine 15" would be better. |

| Skud Owner | Re: 16/17" Alloys for Fabia. I'd stick to 15". I had 16's with 205 tyres on my 1.2 and it was not a good day out, poor MPG and you better hope there's a tail wind behind you when going up hill. It really did make a difference IMHO. |
