| Just after a few views/advice. With my up-coming "Ring Trip" I've been thinking about getting an other set of alloys as a track day set. Been looking at RS4 style alloys (picture attached) and I've been offered 17's or 18's for the same price. Just not sure which would be better? Dave (Shify) did you do any laps with your 18's on? If so what was it like? Any tyres I should go for? Cheers guys

Tyre wise, I can reccommend Kumho v70 k9's, if you have and arb, buy 4. If no arb, buy 2, and put two v70 k6 on the back. Also reccomended, are Dunlop Supersport race tyres. The ring is tyre friendly. Last time I ran over from sunny blackpool on the kumho's to scrub them in, did 29 laps, then drove back on them. Then the same tyres did two track days at Angelsey.

| Cheers Dave Have you got 312's on your fabia? I'm not so much worried about killing the tyres more the fact I've had a pucture repair in one of the fronts and I'm worry about using it on the "Ring" Will have a look about for some cheap 16"

If you havent got 312's, Ive been reliably informed that 15" wheels are the best on track.
