Sorry, I was referring to the difference in ride quality from 16's to 17's as in a 45 to 40 profile. Never experienced 18's on a VRS so not in a position to comment.

All I know is my 17's have made the car feel so much more responsive! without any additional discomfort Its the drop in tyre side wall profile thats done it. On the 16's with a 45 profile it used to fold the rubber over when on the limit and felt a bit squigey. Now its spot on though And high speed stability feels better to.

Not strictly true. I have 18" SuperT's on my car and I have driven to the Amsterdam before with a full car and a boot-load of crap without a single issue of rubbing.

Yes a 35 Profile tyre can be abit crashy and its not cheap, but with Eibachs I think it looks bloody amazing! It does not look chavy, or over the top. Alot of people still think it looks rather OE.

I would recommend 18" tyres from my own personal experience! Also 18" SuperT's are alot lighter then the standard Fabia wheels.
