| Looks like a box with a resitor comming out of one end of it. If it is your car will think it' is permanantly cold and you will knacker the engine because it would be like running the car with the choke on a petrol engine. A better bet would be to get a clean air filter, check all the coolent levels etc and make sure there is nothing blocking the air flow into the engine and intercooler if you have one. Also you might be able to do something with the EGR to have the recycled gas limit turneddown on VAG COM, as recycled gas is hot. You could turn it up again if required come MOT time too if it's only a software setting on the car.

That mod does fool the engine into thinking it's cold. When the tempreature is cold and when the engine is first started though it runs great, good fuel economy and performance. Later in the day, runs like a dog
