| Hi, I have a 56 plated Fabia vRS (its done 6k) but the seats look like its 5 years old, done 50k and the owner is a 100 a day smoker. I've got lots and lots of little stains on mainly the passenger seat but also the drivers (they look like tiny little water marks but some of them are as big as a 10p coin. I poped along to my local Skoda dealer but they didn't know anything to get rid of the marks, they inturn pointed out the £1300 seat upgrade to leather. Now i know that light seats will show up marks very easily but this is stupid. Has anyone else experienced this or better still come up with a way of removing them? I dont just want to try any cleaning solution as this may just stain the seats even more. Any help would be most greatful Ben |

| Usually scotchguarding before hand means these problems are easily sorted, but its a bit late for that. Id give them a good going over with a soft bristle brush and foam interior cleaner (the foam type stuff usually works well)

| Do you want to look at my seats and compare stains ![]() Try 8 months of fabia ownership: Dog that will ONLY sit on the passenger's seat, sloppy owner eating in the car, taking girl friends on night outs in car = eye liner on seats. Tbh, go to a professional valet place, pay £60 and get an as new car.

| Well @ 50k thats above average mileage. Call average 10k a year and the seats have seen as much use as some 5 year old cars. I looked at a 53 plate vRS with stained seats. The dealer was very honest with me and said they had had them proffesionally cleaned twice and there was not much hope of getting the stains out. |

There is a place called Seat Surgeons up York that people rave about, and looking at the pictures they look fab. Also a lot less than a grand.

| Use a steam cleaner. I've got one (the type with a cloth head attachment) and they'll literally get anything out. Just steam without chemicals.

| Try Tescos own brand car interior cleaner. My mate has just used it to clean up the back seat of his BMW after his very messy kids (4 and 2) and the results were truly amazing!!!! He tried some other well knows stuff before (can't remember which one now though) and it didn't make any difference.

| Get a decent local valeter to steam clean them, THEN get some ScotchGuard/Diamondbrite on them. I've got a guy I always use for my interiors - £25. Job done Failing that, give Seat Surgeons £800 and pick your own colours for a custom re-trim ![]() Steve
