Now, i know everything on my car is fine, will be interesting to see what they say is wrong

Apart from the reverse lights inop, and its not the bulbs. Will get a chance to test out Skoda Extended warranty too

Depends on the dealer as to the winter check sometimes, as one techie is different to another.....just remember that!

Did mine last winter, they said it was all good. Which I knew.

Gave me time to nose around the showroom though. And realise the new Octy has the horrible 'floor-up' accelerator like the Golf. Ewww

I emailed them for a price for things and got nothing back, so I emailed them again and still got nothing

I got the full lifetime warranty too but on reading it, nothing is covered :-(

The damage...

Anti roll bar collets are busted, front wipers starting to smear and air box loose. Reverse switch was not plugged in...

Quoted me £15 to replace the bolt for the airbox, until i mentioned they had the gearbox out a few months ago. Never mentioned it again!

But, the ARB is being done under warranty, and they are also replacing the head unit, cos i moaned about that too!

£46 to replace wipers, my **** though

Could have got a set of PIAA's for that and spent 3 minutes fitting them yourself.

£700! What are you needing done?

TBH, when I got my car back from having the clutch done, there were a few faults. Went in and spoke to Alan, said he would deal with it and call me back the following Monday... Still waiting...

Oh, and they were going to call me today to book me in for the ARB and head unit to be fitted... Guess what

<£700! What are you needing done?
40k svc, cambelt with waterpump metal impeller, brakes, and MOT :-(

Then the same month, Tax, Insurance, and roadside assist though I think I will get away with the tyres for a bit longer

Or I could save the £1000 and trade up to the SE if any are around :-) before I have the work done

Or I could just quit, and use the stretched white chaufered Humvee, to take me back and forth to work, I think it works out about the same annual cost :-)

Mine is needing a 50k and cambelt and water pump. And MOT. Already replaced the tyres. And just taxed it...

Oh joy
