|  HELP ME PLEASE....Power Steering Sensor problem If any one can help me to find out why when I drive, the power steering warrning light comes on with head light start flicking especially at end of the journy, then I loos the power steering. I went to skoda dealer they told to change the power steering sensor which cost £155. by the way I don't have the manual book! Thank you for your help........  |

| Re: HELP ME PLEASE....Power Steering Sensor problem chap on ebay sells them £40 get a local garage to fit for about £40 saved yourself a few quid or if your up to it DIY. I had mine done the same simptons as yours no fine after sensor replacment. |

| Re: HELP ME PLEASE....Power Steering Sensor problem This happened to mine (2001 1.4 8v classic) headlights flickering, dash light flickering and power steering light showing. took it back to dealer who sent it back to skoda. They replaced sensor and problem solved however watch for the heating system as mine had to have thermostat replaced very soon after.If your garage replace heating sensor then they should replace the whole thermosat too. by the way does your power steering go very heavy at slow speeds mine did before fixing and yes luckily I bought another warranty |
