Help!

I have put down a deposit on a 2004 red fabia VRS, needless to say i am very excited!!!

The car is completley standard unfortunately but was a real bargain so i have a bit of spare cash to buy some mods.

I am booking the car in with Jabba sport for the re-map, i am buying new 17 inch alloy wheels, and doing a little tinkering with the badges already on the car.

I will still have about £400 left once all this is done and would appreciate advice on mods to be done now and in the near future!

I know you can buy biggeer brakes but is it necessary? I also know you can get the car lowered, which makes the car look better and provides a better ride, and finally i know about the anti roll vars whic also provide a better ride? i am sure there are a lot more options to be had but these are the ones i know about.

What shoudl i do with my £400???

Also if i want to buy non skoda/audi/vw wjheels etc are there any measurements i need to keep in mind to make sure they will actually fit on my car!!!!

Really excited about learning about the car, my brother is already a member of Briskoda and has bought a fabia VRS in the past week after defecring for two years!

Any advice at all will be greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah, my name is Stu.
Cheers

Re: Help!

I'd ask Jabba if they can do the ARB and a set of Eibach springs when you get your remap. It would be a great deal if you could get both for £400, but it's worth a try

Re: Help!

ARB + bigger brakes if you can stretch bro, maybe ill lend you a little cash as a very long term and almost indefianate loan, just so i know your safe.

ARB £232 fitted
Brakes £370 fitted

Total £602, ill give you the £202 when you go just book it in, after all youve helped me out enough before...

Def bigger brakes on the remap...

Re: Help!

Either buy a faster car in the first place or keep it standard and spend the money you would have spent on mods and extra insurance on a cracking holiday. You will get bored of the car eventually modded or not. Been there done that . (Runs and hides)

Oi - that's my line

£400 would probably be best spent on a rear ARB and the hike in insurance
