Jabba remap another satisfied customer

Had my Fabia VRS remapped on Monday and Mike at Jabbasport gave me a very smooth Fabia which when asked will pull cleanly, quickly and relentlessly, no more big bang, just smooth power. Before figures 142bhp & 240lbs torque, after 182 & 301.

Done through the Briskoda group buy and very pleased with Jabba. My previous car an Octavia 4x4 Turbo was remapped at AMD who also did a very good job, however for value for money Jabba will be hard to beat.

Did you have the Cupra intake/panel filter (Green or other)?

Very good result! Again more proof that the Cupra Intake combined with a Green panel filter add's a few BHP to it.

Mine came out at 191 bhp and 311 lb/ft with the same mods. At a later RR the figures that came up were in my signiture!

IIRC they are both custom maps, the only difference being Jabba can now map directly onto your ECU via the ODBII port instead of having to physically remove the ECU and reprogram it.

I think the cheaper one doesn't include the time on the Rollers.

Correct. They are both Serial Port Programming. One is a generic map & the more expensive one is a custom map set up on the rollers.

The generic map will only have an "after" plot done for you.

All custom remaps are now done via OBD however, there are instances where a particular ECU version will not allow this and requires the EEPROM to be swapped out. Both are done via the rollers.

Shaun,

can you PM me the price you paid. Thanks.

Mine showed the power before remap/after so I assume mine is a custom one?

Yes.

All our group buys are for custom maps unless someone specially asks for a generic one.

I fitted the TT arch liner vents & now my car has 15k more miles since when Mike mapped it and it's smoking pretty bad, is something wrong and does the map need to be tweaked one last time?
