Try Chips Away. They have a mobile service.

chips away did an excellent job on my mx5 a few months back. took them about 45mins and cost 60 quid! can't tell anything was wrong. that was on a dark metalic blue so blackmagic should be fine.

When I had my Octy vRS the local stealer resprayed the front skirt fot me before I purchaced the car. this was done at a proper paint place and the paint was cured by heat. Just how good are firms like "chips a way" are they just "cosmetic" paint repaires or are they long turn repaires. Not wishing to put down these mobile repair firms as I am sure they do a First class job.....Opinions Please

Try Chips Away. On Day 2 of ownership, a rock the size of the planet jumped off the road and pinged across my bonnet I called Chips Away, they came to my workplace and repaired the damage, the result is not invisible, but it's perfectly acceptable. From my desk, I saw what the technician did, and once he'd painted the damaged area he placed a heater over the bonnet to cure the new paint. Very professional I thought, took them about 2 hours to do, and they charged me £50 which I thought was OK You should get a quote from them before you commit yourself to anything else. If you go with the brats Father's option, what guarantee will you get? If it all peels off in 4 months time, who are you going to go to? Chips Away offer a guarantee

If you were down South I'd have said try Little Knocks near Heathrow, have had several jobs done by them for a third of main agent prices and they do a cracking job.

Daz, drop it through to chipsaway (or whatever they're called now). last time I looked they were in some units behind Lookers Audi in Stockton..... If it's too big a job for them then whilst you're through that neck of the woods head into Boro and try 'Pride and Joy Classics'. They're just off the A66 at Newport and are opposite the VW garage near Aldi or Lidl I forget now.
