| Update.... The Intercooler is fine after all, it's been checked out and it's not punctured. (When I went offroading from the dual carriageway, a log went in the front and dented it a bit) Anyone else got the front of their vRs basically zip tied together? Mine is until the end of the month!! So the bill still stands at £450. Thanks anyway people. ![]()

| Some errant git swerved infront of me and then slamed the brakes on,(you hear of people doing this on purpose to make a claim) so I thought I'm not going to hit you and did a bit of avasive driving and swerved to avoid them and lost it and the car went sideways off the road and as it came back straight, there was a log (well, it was about 80 - 100mm diameter) in a pile and I drove straight into it and it was just at the right angle to destroy all of the plastic on the drivers side and hit the intercooler on the edge, thats why the front is zip tied up. For some reason, the timber managed to go through the air inlet for the intercooler and did its damage, still need a new bumper though, all the commections for the plasic has been ripped off, fog lights etc, all busted, what a bummer!!! Cabin had a distinct smell afterwards......hmmm Lucky really... ![]()

| And, doubtless the errant git drove away unscathed and without a backwards glance. Sympathies. |

| Too right, never looked back, probably laughed. Thanks. It's a shame though, I try to keep my car looking good and this happens, not to worry though, being sorted soon.
