New Fabia vRS - update - please read

Just ordered my New Fabia vRS in Black Magic.

I know this is nothing exciting for you guys being owners of skodas already.

But im 18 and still in collage. Upgrading from my 1991 Astra in Solarfade red. I am absolutly over the moon, got a great deal too.. Through my aunty who works for Black Horse, got a brand new furby vRS, metallic paint for £11,500. and a 5% APR on finance. Insurance only £858. Bargin.

I Am so happy

Just got to wait for it to arrive. ARGHH!

Good choice. Was 23 when I got mine; replacing a 1.2 Punto. It's a great car that you'll probably keep for a long time. Hope you enjoy it!

Good insurance quote too!

I dont think ill need to chip the fubry yet, 130bhp is enough for me going from 54bhp. Also is it wise to chip a car thats will have done less than 50miles?

nice seats tho

where did u get those babys from?

I don't think there's any problems with chipping the car that early on, although you will be invalidating the warranty. If you want to let the engine bed in, then give it til 10k miles or so before doing it

Seats were available from a seat retrimmer in York, I believe ... check out the Group Buys section - around £750 all in IIRC....

Sounds like a cracking deal you got there mate!

You will really enjoy it- I like driving the wifes one after I've been in my 4 year old Golf which is slightly faster, so you should love it after a 14 year old Astra!

Mine took two weeks from ordering to picking up (tomorrow!!) although I was quoted three. That said, I only specified colour and no other options.

Cheers
Stu

collage.. well its a sixthform, and im retaking the last year as my grades didn't meet what i needed.

Ive specified black, which i belive is the most common, so i doubt it will take long, the company im going through said they will contact every dealer in the Uk to see which can get one the fastest and then have it delivered to my door :x

hopfully by my birthday would be nice

November 18th. But by christmas is the goal.

Who did you go with to get it that cheap mate?

I'm almost 20, two years no claims my own insurance etc etc and with elephant it costs me £1400, that was the cheapest i could get and i thought fairly reasonable, but seeing your quote maybe not
