Well after my 4 year service during which I also had an MOT, new cambelt and new rear brakes, I now need to consider doing the front brakes as apparently the discs are getting very low. The car has just gone over 45k miles, so not toooo bad I suppose.

My conundrum is, do I just go for standard brakes, or do I pick up a set of 312mm Audi TT's.

I don't drive fast, but the car is remapped, they'll look nice behind my Audi alloys, but apart from looking nice will I really get any benefit from a triple spend?

I'd also need to find somewhere/body to fit them, me and doing stuff to cars (apart from cleaning) just don't go together. Although I can do replacement bulbs and managed to fit the PD160 intake

you could just get uprated ones (same size but from black diamond or EBC)?

but if the cost adds up then might as well go 312mm...
