| Hi I own a wrx at the moment but got car jacked in brum yesterday so I am gonna get shot of it and am really interested in the fabia. Hopefully I can get a test drive later today. Just wondered if anyone had problems with scum after there car particularly in birmingham as I work around this area visiting schools. Does anyone know approx delivery times for a vrs. Cheers Rich |

| Briskodian | Crikey, sorry to here that mate..must have been scary Its a shame when stuff like that happens obviously, i knew a guy who always wanted a ferrari and when he eventually managed to buy one he preffered to use his old mondeo because he was so scared of damaging it or attracting the wrong attention. A good thing about the fabia (in my opinion) is that only people who actually know quite a bit about cars realise its potential and most dont give it a second look really. I know lots of people on here have mentioned the looks on peoples face as you overtake them in a skoda I guess the Vrs is meant to be getting a cult following though, hopefully that wont be detrimental in your opinion. Good luck! Skoda dealers are v friendly in my experience and offer good test drives but you may need to call around to find one who has a Vrs in stock as they sell so quickly. |

| Sorry to hear of your bad experience. I also live in Birmingham and have had no trouble with my Fabia vRS yet (only had it one week though). I managed to get one within a week of ordering it. You could try Savilles Garage in Kidderminster (Patrick Sword - very nice chap). Very friendly, tel: 01562 777077. I'm pretty sute they had a nice red '04 in their used cars too. Good luck |

| Briskodian | Get the Furby and get it debadged straight away. Nobody even looks twice at me in mine... but then Newcastle is hardly the roughest city around anyway. You should have run the f**ker over. |

| Yes it certainly stopped them in there tracks.Where I live is fine just going to areas of brum for work which is dodgy. Luckily Im not usually there for long. Is it possible to remove the grille badge from the front of the vrs? |

| Yes it is. You could also change the whole grille.

| I managed to get a test drive at All Electric Garage in Halesowen. The chap who seen to me was wayne only been there a week and he was very friendly and let me test it no problems. What can I say I was very surprised how quick the car actually was. Handling was good and I like the gear change. I was very comfortable and I love the seats. Wayne had not been in ne before and even he was impressed and he drives an M3! Yes I think the Fabia is for me. Just got to get mine back and then try and get a decent trade in price. Rich |

| Not bad little motors are they? Good to hear you a "nice" dealer experience as well. Have a look in the review section as well, and look to see what other people think of dealers round your way. Not read them myself so don't know if they are good or not:http://www.briskoda.net/reviews/showcat.php/cat/110
