| Not a good month Actually a bit of an understatement, at the start of the month I came of my bike causing over a grands worth of damage to it, which most of it is fixed now but this morning I reversed my 2004 Fabia Vrs into a sodding gate post (which I plan to attack tonight with a sledge hammer!) Anyways my rear bumper has a massive hole in it and I'm looking for prices for a new one, does anyone know a rough cost? It was on the passenger side and it might have ripped the mounts on the wheel arch too but I haven't had time to look. |

| Re: Not a good month O dear mate thats not good. I am sure someone will be along with a rough price soon but my guess is 60 quid for the bumper skin and around 100 for painting if u do all the other work yourself.

| Re: Not a good month Alright Skudmissile, just rang local dealer and they quoted: £92.26 + VAT bumper £141.70 +VAT Skirt Then there is cost of painting on top of that although i'm not sure which part I need. I wish this month would end already! |

Thats well expensive, id be tempted to look on ebay, there have been quite a few vrs's rolled latley, god knows how they manage it. The best thing about the vrs is the colours being only a few to choose from, you might even be able to find one in the correct colour. I just tryed the place we used to use SEL-Imperial: SKODA but they dont list rear bumpers on their website, might be worth giving a call. also could try Euro Car Parts UK - European Car Parts _____ john
