| poor brum update: 24th march: I was told by my insurance that the car was a total loss 4th april: ive been told by insurance that a specialist thinks it can be fixed. The car is at a vauxhall dealership awaiting parts now. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() shes a suvivor! ![]()

| Re: poor brum good comment. i was told that if they find more damage when the are in the repairin stage they will re-asses and let me know. i couldnt get the bonnet up to show a fracture through the left wing.

| Re: poor brum Personally I would take the money and get a new one as opposed to getting it repaired, they never drive quite the same afterwards in my view having had a few incidents myself.

| Re: poor brum Anyway why is it at a vauxhall dealer? They can't fix vauxhalls in my experiance let alone a 'performance' car from another manufacturer. Surely a specialist repairer would be a 'Skoda' specialist?

As for not wanting back a repaired car that's been badly damaged - I'd agree on that one. I had a Discovery a few years ago that got minor frontal damage (muppet reversed into me) and it was never quite the same. Cheers Ben
