it is a nice motor but from experience prices have plumeted since just before xmas time.

I'd personally say stick it up for 7 and be prepared to accept less due to a service needing done, will also need cambelt as its an 04

Prices are dropping possibly due to certain dealers (one not a million miles from me) who are offering the new 1.9Tdi Fabia Sport with a 145bhp 'upgrade'.
Fully warrantied, an' all!

i was talking to my local garage bickerton skoda and the guy told me due to the delay in the new vrs the old one is retaining its value well they had an 06 like mine with nearly 30k for 10295 but then again they always put it above what they can and you do pay more for dealer cars cos of the better service involved

A college of mine is currently looking at an '06 VRS with 9.5K for £6,500 and this is at a skoda dealership (I won't tell you which as he is hoping to get it tomorrow!)

This seems a little "to good to be true".
