| Anybody care to recommend a Skoda garage for servicing in the North East? Also any independent garages that would qualify for keeping the warranty? I know as long as they use genuine VAG parts etc then that is ok, but any specialists out there? Thanks

| JBS Autodesigns are based in Chesterfield which is in South Yorkshire, I suppose this is the nearest place which is a VAG specialist near/in the North East.

| I can recommend Slacks, they have always played fair with me and they don't add things on to their original quotes for servicing. |

| You could have a look in the reviews section for dealers: Click here for North East Dealers Just to get on my hobby horse again; if people use a dealer, please add a review. Ta!

| Ok so just had a lube service at Phil Wilkes, Darlington, done at 8700 miles (just over 6 months old) and it cost £101.44. That includes £8 for getting rid of the old oil??? As well as £5.82 for additive which aren't supposed to be used according to what I have read on here! I need an annual in 6 months and I have been told that will be £170. So expected £271 for 17000 miles and one year. Will be more in year two
