It should be an everyday sight , Skoda should have built a petrol vRS with the 1.8T 150PS engine in it.

I guess the Mk1 Octavia vRS was their answer for that. I think whilst putting one in the Furby would have made a great selling point, I guess Skoda thought a Warm Diesel Hatchback would have much more selling appeal then a petrol alternative. Being as the 1.8T was already common place in the Audi A3 and Golf.

Seen this before, i saw a blog with all the stuff he's done to it.

Alot of work, respect for that.
Like the colour.
Smoothness is cool, plate recess will be a must on my motor in the next year. Gives it a much better look in my oppintion.
Wheels are gash though!

You have to say well done to that. Whoever this guy is clearly has more money than sense. Personally i would have used the money to buy a better car.

And he went to the effort of an expensive engine transplant to then weigh it down with a big stereo and other nonsense.

Re: Skoda Fabia 1. 8 turbo by Schlumpf

i was reading an old issue of Auto Express when they had their Fabia vRS on the fleet. And they actually said:
"Expect a petrol version sometime next year"

SO! Skoda? Where the hell is our 1.8 20v Turbo version hmmmmm?

You'll need to swap over all the wiring, dash, etc to make it easier. I'm waiting for some extra money as I want to do a 1.8T with the 4wd haldex system.
