I pick my vrs up on Firday..Before I purchased I looked round a few, shall we say “independent garages” Main dealer: 04plate £8.500 28k full skoda history..1 owner purchased and px back to same dealer… just serviced , 12months skoda warranty + 12 months breakdown assistance and mot Dodgy Bob’s: 04 £7.500 56k just “service history” 2 owners.. 3 months Bob’s warranty, 12mot The main dealers price may be pricey for a 04 but they also gave me a lot better px deal |

| Re: Skoda main dealer prices seem pretty fair.. It's just as well you do get an extended warranty......I'm using mine a lot. The warranty outside of the manufacturers 3 year job does not cover wiring looms, water ingress, door hinges...all that sort of thing. But most other things that should not go wrong should be covered. Where the dealer surprised me was the prices of parts. I'm used to paying BMW prices but these are far better......Like £20 for a full set of 3 wipers and £5 for a touch up kit. Makes Halfrauds look pricy in comparison.
