Talking Smart Rear Wiper!

I realised today that my Furby has a smart rear wiper... when front wipers are on, but rear wiper is not, you put the car in reverse and the rear wiper goes once to clear your view, very cool...

Is this a feature on all furbys (vRS)?

Yup its a neat feature isnt it. Also if you have a diesel it operates the air recirculation flap so you dont choke on your own smog

That explains a lot of things-I thought there was a fault on both my cars. Anybody know how to change the rear wipers without breaking anything?

Yeah, it's the little touches that make the car what it is

SWMBO's Polo has the same feature too - possibly a VAG feature across the fabia/Polo/Ibiza range?

On the Ibiza the aircon light switches to recirculate when you reverse. The Furby does the same but doesn't change the light - I'd have assumed they were the same.

Pretty sure it's only a feature of the latest ECU..... the extra wipe is overrated imho
