| Re: Steering vibration I have had problems like this on other cars. I found that although I had the wheels balanced, the problem was still there because they were not balanced properly. I got them done again somewhere else and it worked. Also if you have gone to lower profile tyres its more noticable. |

| Re: Steering vibration This might have been what Chris was stating (?), but I'll state it in case it wasn't. The only wheel balancing jobs that are really worth it are the ones where they place the weights at different depths and/or multiple locations (if necessary) inside the rim itself - where they are not linearly placed. The balance technique where the weight is on the outside of the rim (or placed in only one location inside the rim) is nearly useless. For me, rim and tire balance is important and I would pay extra to go somewhere where the technicians know what they are doing. |
