How to do up a bog standard Fabia... See Pics!

Well for all of you out there without a vRS i.e. students like me heres how you can do up your bog standard Fabia to give it more sporting looks even if, like mine, it isnt exactly sporty... 1.2 Ha Ha Ha! But least it looks better!

The Fabia shown below is a 1.2 12v HTP Comfort and the only mods are these (So Far):

Rear spoiler, vRS Alloys, Exhaust Trim:

Seconded. Improves the look of the car without spending a fortune or overdoing it and ending up like a Halfords special.

Good job

looks good mate, maybe your next spending spree should be on uprated springs/dampers... The lower ride height would makeit look more mean!

Yeah I'm completly with you... DO NOT WANT BOYRACER looks what i'm trying to, as you've seen is improve the looks of the standard car... yet still have it looking standard... as if it was built this way.

People turn up at college with their Fiestas, clios and 206s all kitted out with the most attrocious plastic bits and horrible aftermarket wheels.... this is why I went for vRS wheels... they just work spot on with the car.

I would, but presently it still looks ok.... and the great thing is... I can clear all the London speed humps!

Slimy but satisfying.

Probably just as slow as a Fabia Vrs.

Oi - get behind your couch

Actually lowering the car may not be worth it, although the standard vRS still goes over them quite nicely. Much lower than that and you'd have to stop for each speedbump

That looks brilliant mate, good job.

Prehaps you should invest in a vRS rear bumper/the new shape front spoiler (fog light arrangement and mesh) as IMO it would look excellent and still very subtle (not boyracerish).

Yeah won't be going any further except possible the front spoiler/bumper area.... one of the members "L.Y.K." has put on the skoda accessory front spoiler/bumper and it looks very smart and subtle.

But dont worry this is as far as it goes.... this is not ever going to be a chav/boyracer modded car!

Want to keep the car looking as a "Skoda" not a "Halfords GTI Wannabe"

Plus I have a very limited budget anyway.... Now £30 and that'll be for fuel for rest of month!!

Have you considered getting a green panel filter? I know it wont make it any faster, but I had a curtosy car 1.2 HTP yesterday/this morning and the 3 cylinder sounds fantastic, just a little bit more throaty and it'd sound excellent but without sounding boy racery i.e giant exhaust etc. I can also vouch for how quick they are considering the engine size, 108 mph on my private track poor car only had 38 miles on it.

Hmm may go down this road in the future.... yeah they really do fly, its because they are so light.... 108mph I can vouch the 1.2 is fast but woah i've never dared that one yet!

Not bad for top speed "99 mph!"

Pleased that the comfort has the 1.2 12v though cause i'm told the 1.2 MPI scrapes the bottom of any performance rating.

Subtle

have you thought about debadging ( front wing and the badge under "FABIA"), it doesnt cost anything except a bit of effort.

Certainly thinking of taking "Comfort" off... but i'm going to leave Fabia 1.2 HTP as there are so many idiots in London constantly up your rear bumper trying to rush you on having spoiler etc makes it look sporty so the badge helps to remind people that perhaps it dont shift it so much.

As it happens I have/had a vRS badge I was originally going to put on but my dad's taken it as he just remapped his Octy 4x4 Estate to 200BHP so on the bak it shows:

OCTAVIA
4X4 turbo
V/RS
