syphony cd fitting

have just bought syphony cd player from r32 (cheers mate)at the moment my 2000 fabia is fitted with skoda auto cassette/radio 402,when i change them over is it just a multi plug and ariel lead i need to disconnect and/re-connect.and then enter new code.or do skodas have some other quirky procedure you need to do.have done ford players in less than a 5 mins.

Nope, 2 minute job mate. Simply switch the wires over.

Nope, that's all there is to it. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes, provided you know the code.

A bit of a hijack sorry, (sort of related though!!)

Do the same removal keys fit the Symphony as the 402??

I have a set here that took the 402 out of a previous Fabia, but they don't seem to fit the Symphony too well. I reckon they would fit with a bit of brute force and ignorance, but I don't want to damage the unit!!
