To be honest, this is about right, the front springs need to be compressed and removed which can take some time. Rears ar ea bit easier and the ARB is 30 mins.

I think 3-4 hours is fair for all four and the ARB.

Re: Time needed to change 4 springs and anti roll bar?

i recon that is about right too. i changed four springs on friday. started at 2pm and was finished for about 7ish. rear and front passenger side are easy peasy but i struggled on the drivers side as the driveshaft gets in the way.

Get your self up to awesome gti. It would only cost £211.50 for 4 hours work.

..................argh........ just seen your location. Getting over there from dublin would probably use up the other £90

Well, I doubt the procedure is much different for either.

I was quoted £150 to fit an Eibach prokit (Springs, shocks and struts) by a specialist.

If thats the price, you might want to consider doing the ARB yourself. It's easier to fit than an easy thing with easy fit grease complete with easy fit instructions. In short it's easy to fit even it you have little prior experiance.

Re: Time needed to change 4 springs and anti roll bar?

the rear springs and ARB can be done at the same time , due to the fact that the same bolts that hold the shockers on will also hold the ARB on ,

I reckon on about an hour a side at least for the fronts , when i did mine they were a bit of a pig to do , and that was at work on a wheel free ramp with the correct spring compressor
