| Briskodian | Re: Which Vag Com Lead Anything from a DIY made-in-a-shed item to the authentic Ross Tech. item should be fine. However the cheapo ones tend not to work with anything but the old version of the software (however some do work with the very latest, allegedly) |

| Re: Which Vag Com Lead To be slightly clearer your car does not require CANBUS. So as Phil says one of the cheapo Ebay ones will be fine but you will have limited functionality using Demo Software.

It is a worthy note that if buying genuine then they can be cheaper by ordering from the US especially with a favourable exchange rate. I got mine from the US without problem.
