Default vRS manual warning lights help please

Anyone help a would-be vRS running gear owner with some warning lights please.

Basically I just need some form of guide to the piccies, the noises and what they all mean.

If you hear a loud bang and clouds of smoke and flame , this isn't good.

If you hear a quieter noise and lots of soot thats a better sign

There isn't a vRS owner's manual as such, so the warning lights will be the same as a PD100.

Hi - thanks. Some I guess will be similar but there's some new ones I don't remeber ever being part of the PD100 setup, such as the obvious "boot open" light, which is permanently on... Guess that's a wiring issue. Will have to find out how I can reverse that.

Is there a warning light for the engine to ask "what the hell have you done to me"?
