Default Vrs Problem grinding

i have a 03 vrs but it sounds like the rear discs are grinding and i can feel a slight pull in the car but had the brakes checked the garage said the pads where fitted said they where prob bedding in but done several 1k's of miles still the problem persists and they still pleed ingorant of the problem

I had the same problem on mine and it was 07 reg with only 10k miles. The skoda garage couldnt find anything wrong with it at all... But i think i've seen people mention on the forum here that it was a common characteristic of the rear brakes

yeah I think It is...both my Vrs's have done this but its usually when you start off in the morning or when the cars been laid up for a while.....it stopped when I had used the brakes a couple of times...

could be some build up on the pads or discs

put your handbrake on 1 or 2 clicks and drive in 2nd gear at 10mph for about half a mile, then go and do a few hardish stops, might cure it.
