Had a VTR, sold it, bought a VTS, sold it, bought a 1.8T 4x4. The order would have to go:

VTR
std 4x4
VTS
VRS
chipped 4x4
chipped VRS

The little VTR wouldn't stand much of a chance.

Vrs every time. The only advantage the vtr has is weight and nimbleness due to being smaller and less well built. In general use a standard Fabia vRs should anhialate it. If you are bothered about 0 - 60 the vtr will have an edge from the start due to the difference in how the diesel engine works and therefore the need to change earlier.
