I would suggest contacting the person who did your map tbh mate.

p.s. if you're going back to standard what parts will you be selling as I'm local.

Re: wanting to map my engine back to standard

Could you swap the ECU with somebody who doesn't have a map and use VAG com to do any adjustments needed?

I've contacted my two local dealers. The first said they can't do it and the second said they will have a look but can't promise anything.

Anyone know of anyone in the South Wales area who can do this??????????????????????? I will travel if necessary!

Re: wanting to map my engine back to standard

Seriously m8 best place to get it done is the place you had it mapped at in the first place they (should) always keep a copy of the origional map.

Failing that go to your local skoda and pay them the money to do it.

Re: wanting to map my engine back to standard

Couldnt or wouldnt.

Either way all they would need to do is hook the car up to VAS 5052/51, either insert the latest version CD or get online to Skoda. Update engine ECU, job done.

Well thats the thing, they didnt really want to know to be honest... Might try the Dumfries branch as altogether they seem a lot more welcoming
