Re: washer bottle woes...

It sounds to me like the water in the bottle has frozen at some point. Have you at any point just filled it with water and not screenwash?

Smile Re: washer bottle woes...

I've just noticed the same problem with my VRS. The car isn't 18 months old yet.

Does anyone know how much this could cost with a dealer?

Thanks

Re: washer bottle woes...

Is it actuallyholed - the botles are pretty rugged? I had the same a while back and thought the pipe had come off he bottle but it turned out to be the valve that directs the water to front or rear that was leaking (its a single pump that can spin both ways depending upon where the water is needed and a little valve makes sure that water doesn't bleed into the other). The fix was to remove the wheel and wheel arch liner - strip the valve and re-build it with some new saalant.

Re: washer bottle woes...

Could it be a leaky seal on one of the pumps from the washer bottle.

Have a look at this guide to see how the pumps fit
