washer jets seem out of line.....

Although I know they are static and cannot be moved......

I have recently had the windscreen replaced and now I have just realised when I spray the winscreen washers they shoot mainly onto the screen but quite a bit of water sprays each side and ove the roof! Very annoying if you have washed it a day or so before.

I did notice that the plastic shelf that the jets are attached to is not held down as the guys at the windscreen place ripped the plastic clips off and glued them back on to make it look like they had fitted them back on. It does look flush and I doubt this would help the issue.....

So any ideas? (I don't think the nozzles are blocked either as the spray seems fine)

ok Lummox. need to pickup some clips from my dealer. I can't believe the window company thought it would be ok to just glue the caps on and make me believe they were actually holding the damn thing on.

Can't adjust fabia ones. they are fixed. you Pay for it in the nose too when they break

Re: washer jets seem out of line.....

fitted the scuttle panel back in position.

washer jets still are squirting at the window but when I get out of the car you can see the water is going all the way past the back of the car!

I did notice that there are metal clips that the scuttle panel is fixed to. do you think these can be bent to allow for adjustment. only slightly....

Re: washer jets seem out of line.....

On mine ive noticed the scuttle panel is not fixed near where the washers are theres a couple of fixings but spaced in between the washer jets. So should be able to adjust the aim by trying to wedge the panel up/down locally to them.
