| Briskodian | water in boot - possible solution Hi For quite some time I have had some trouble with water in the boot of my Fabia combi. I then found out why : when pouring water down the back of the car I discovered that there apparently was a hole in the well where the boot lid are attached to the body of the car. When wiggling the car water came out of a small hole in the top trim in the back and then dripped into the boot. My solution has been to seal the egdes of the wells with silicone. Some pictures are attached to illustrate. Hope that some of you guys can use this solution. |

| Briskodian | Re: water in boot - possible solution Glad to hear that the solution is usable, Mike. I am a nut myself with solutions with illustrating pics so if I am solving any Fruby related problems in the future I will take pictures to clarify. |
